DRIVER AIRLIFTED AFTER 2 VEHICLE CRASH

(GREENOCK TWP, ON) - On April 5, 2017 at 5:20 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash at the intersection of Greenock-Brant Line and Chepstow Road. Officers attended with members of the Walkerton Fire Department and Bruce Paramedic Services to find a Grey Honda Civic and a Green Jeep Wrangler involved in the crash.

The driver of the Civic, a 34-year-old Brockton man, was taken to a local hospital, and then airlifted to a London hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life threatening, injuries.

The driver of the Wrangler, a 40-year-old West Grey Township man, received treatment at a local hospital.

Chepstow Road was closed for the protection of emergency responders. It has since re-opened to traffic.

The investigation is continuing.

POLICE LOOKING FOR STOLEN PROPERTY

(KINCARDINE, ON) - On April 2, 2017 at 12:21, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft report from a residence in the 600 block of Hunter Street in Kincardine. Sometime between 1:00 p.m. on April 1, 2017 and 5:00 p.m. on April 1, 2017, a DWD MAET snowboard and a "Drifter" guitar were taken.

The snowboard has cigarette butt graphics on the face and neon yellow bindings. The guitar has a large sticker bearing a white symbol on the face. The value of the stolen property is estimated to be more than $700.

DRIVER CHARGED AFTER 2 VEHICLE CRASH

(ARRAN TWP, ON) - On March 31, 2017 at 11:12 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash in the roundabout where the Grey-Bruce Line meets Highway 21.

Officers arrived to find that a Red Dodge Caliber and a Silver Chrysler Sebring were involved in the crash. The driver of the Sebring, a 63-year-old Georgian Bluffs Township man, was charged with fail to yield. There were no injuries reported at the scene.

OPP INVESTIGATING MISSING/OVERDUE MALE IN SPRY LAKE AREA

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) - On April 5, 2017 at 11:01 p.m., the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call from concerned family members regarding a missing/overdue male from a residence near Spry Lake, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

74-year-old Douglas ARNOLD was reported missing/overdue as he failed to return to his residence last evening. The Bruce Peninsula OPP along with the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), the West Region Canine Unit and the OPP Aviation Service Helicopter are continuing to search the area.

The missing male is described as: 5 feet 7 inches, 175 lbs, Short blonde hair, Glasses, Orange hat, Blue jeans and Rubber boots.
